Powder Coating Alloy Wheels Process

First, we remove the tyres and strip any existing coatings right down to the bare metal. Next, we inspect the alloy wheels for damage, like kerbing or corrosion, and make any alloy wheel repairs needed.

The wheels are heated to remove any moisture, and we then apply the powder coat in the colour you have chosen. Then we cure it in the oven and apply a lacquer finish with satin or gloss lacquer.

Finally, the tyres are refitted, and we can coat the vehicle hubs and callipers upon request.

Diamond-Cut Alloys

Choose our diamond-cut alloy wheels service for a shinier finish. Following the powder coating process, we place the wheels in a diamond-tip CNC machine, which removes a fine layer of metal.
